We are already here, in fall! If I could freeze time, and the world around me into a small crystal ball that I could look at everyday, I would pick autumn! The red, orange, yellow, brown leaves never fail to amaze me, and brings immense happiness within me. I have slowly picked up my running pace, and it’s still a mind game every day, some days, I win, some days I lose. As it is getting cooler/ colder in the mornings, and that’s the only time I can realistically get out for a run, I wrap myself in my thermals, and go. I love watching the world go by as I quietly make my way through busy roads, quiet streets, sleepy neighborhoods, occasionally interrupted by howling dogs, or some construction equipment. Running in fall is one of the best things I enjoy in life, watching the trees, and leaves, treading on streets filled with fall leaves, making sure I don’t slip on any of those overfilled sidewalks. As I slowly run and make it to the second mile, I can feel the change in my thoughts, and body; no more complaining but just enjoying the surreal moment. I feel better, stronger, and healthier. I just wish this happy feeling stayed with me, and catapulted me out off a cozy warm bed the next morning!

Yesterday, we drove down to Charlotte for important work, and we left really early. The view around us as we whizzed past!
